A brand identity, including logo refinement, sales collateral and a
web site were developed
for Covington Funds, one of Canada’s
largest provider of venture capital
investment funds. The company is young and energetic with a boutique approach to their business, this is reflected in the work we produce for them.
Building on the existing equities of the existing logo, we set about refining with the implementation of a crafted serif font and a new coin illustration to harmonise with the type. The dimensional coin symbol reflects the Canadian focus of the company.
Covington makes strategic use of printed collateral in the marketing of their products. The presentation of this information is critical and so to pique interest we look at interesting ways to maintain a balance between informative yet visually stimulating material. We understand that these materials are there to help sell product.
The layout of the
collateral reflects the specialist “boutique” culture of the company whilst strengthening the visual identity of the brand. Colours and themes are consistent throughout, whilst maintaining clear distinction between various items.
As part of the development of the Covington brand, Stratega re-designed the corporation's web site. Whilst carrying the newly established brand identity, we looked to develop a site that was useful to Covington, their advisors and their investors. The layout is clean and simple, with clear navigation and informative content. The site has a vast database, with a control management system in place for convenient client access and updating. Daily RSS feeds reflect current pricing, and a customizable charting application indicating past performances.
